A lot of bloggers are asking this question these days in hopes that someone will give them a magic "pill" that will increase their traffic by the thousands overnight. Well to be completely honest their isn't much by way of a magic pill, if you want to increase your traffic you are going to have to do a little leg work or shell out some money. Even advertising your blog on certain websites can't promise you a great return, and the ones that can, well a lot of times the prices are too high for bloggers who are just getting started. If someone ever asked me how I get so much traffic to my blog I would say it is content, and lots of it. Not just any content but niche related content. You have to know your audience and you need to write blog posts and articles to meet their "reading" and "life" needs. Now writing lots of content can be incredibly time consuming, not to mention researching keywords and all that good stuff. So a blogger will definitely want to streamline their content writing by using a good mixture of original content (written by you), articles by other authors (you can usually get these in article directories), and my favorite of course is Private Label Content. Private Label Content is a type of article that is written by a team of writers and at the end of the day you can claim the article as if you wrote it yourself. Now some PLR membership sites do have restrictions and you will want to read up on those before joining, but for the most part you are able to post the articles on your blog/website without having to post an author bio plus you can even use the articles for other things that could help you turn a profit - like making info products out of them! So there you have it, that's how I get traffic to my blog, and it doesn't take much effort or money really, just plain, old fashioned - blogging!
