Just checking in.  I have been catching up here on My WAHM Space.  Got some welcomes in, updated my page (how do you like the play list?) and I'm getting ready to head outside to mow the lawn. It's a beautiful day so far here in IL.  I'll be ready for a nap soon though

What are you plans for the day? Hope you have a good one!

We had the open house at our Fire Station.  We were sent to help with the older kids hose drill so it was super fun and a good workout in the mix.  lol  I'm tired, but so much fun.  I love watching the little kids in such awe that they get to use the hose and of course I'm so proud of my hubby I love to see the kids so excited to talk to him.

Our best friends kids stopped by and one of them is SEVERELY handicapped.  He was excited to be there and got lots of hugs.  He saw my hubby from way across the area and forced his way through.  We got pics of him using the hose and he clear as day told me "I put out the fire".  sniff-sniff This boy is 11 and was never supposed to make it past 6 months.  We have all taught him so much.

Needless to say, it's been an incredible day :)
