Anyone who knows me, knows that my first website was Mom's Online Retreat - it's my baby! Always a work in progress!
I just had to brag, because I'm so proud of the way she's looking! (Yes, SHE!) Let me tell you why! I was the lucky winner of a customized header made by our very own Designed by Lara. I took forever deciding on what I wanted for the design - but once I got the idea to her she ran with it and created an absolutely beautiful collage style header for the site, and I was also able to use it for the header image in the site's blog The Retreat News.
Once I got the header up though, I found that I wanted to refresh the colors. So, it's gotten a new color scheme as well. AND my newest addiction is stock photos! So I went crazy and put up images on each of the main retreat area home pages! We've moved out of the Castle and into a LogHome(ish) Retreat Center! (In my mind of course!) But I think the images really add to the feel that I want visitors to have at the site!
Still have a couple of bugs and will always have something to add - but I'm so happy with the results so far! Lara was able to capture all the retreat areas in the picture collage header design - and it truly was an inspiration! Really help me set the tome I wanted for the site!
