I have been married to Peter, who owns his own home improvement business, for the past 19 years. We are parents to 4 children, ages 8-18. We have been homeschooling for 11 years now - my oldest is now in college majoring in music studies.
We are very active in our church, we love the Lord, and we love being a family that has the flexibility to make our own schedules and live according to our priorities.
My children are all very involved in product-testing for my business. If it isn't fun and engaging, Mommy doesn't carry it in her store.

My goal for the rest of 2008 is to compile a catalog of the almost 500 products that I carry from over a dozen different educational suppliers.
I am also committed to helping schools realize the potential of their students through the use of teaching logic and critical thinking skills. I hope to accomplish this mainly through the BRAIN-athon Fundraiser Program.

BRAIN-athon Emporium is my own company.
I have spent the last few years promoting books and software that empower children to do better in school by getting them to think about HOW they think so that they can learn to question the views and beliefs of others, and draw logical conclusions independently and intelligently.
This year I have been able to expand my product line to include games and puzzles that help children to think analytically, pay attention to detail, and become expert problem solvers.

Be yourself - find what you're passionate about. We, as women, want to change the world - and we can when we believe in what we are doing.
My favorite testimony came from a little boy who called me and thanked me for selling his mother a Building Thinking Skills book that he used daily over his summer vacation. He said, "I didn't go back to school brain-dead like I usually do." LOL!
